After recess, coach Hoffmann Jomade introduced experienced striker Stephen Sarfo who announced his presence by pulling parity with his first touch on the field to make it 1-1.

The 90 minutes ended in a 1-1 stalemate with Chelsea been the better side.

Amos Kofi Nkrumah, restored the Miners’ lead with a spectacular strike two minutes into extra time to make it 2-1.

A few minutes later, Berekum Chelsea were reduced to ten men as forward Benjamin Abaidoo was shown the red card.
