Black Stars captain Andre Ayew says the squad is strong enough for Ghana’s current assignments and future events.

The senior national team will face Ethiopia for the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Friday, September 3

Ayew spoke at the pre-match press conference for the game against the Walia Ibex.

“It’s nice to have a blend of youth and experienced players in the squad. The new guys have talent and quality and the blend is good for the team.

“We won’t be here forever. Just like some of us had seniors who guided us when we came, we will do same for them.”
