A Ghana Police Welfare bus has been involved in an accident leaving 6 officers with various degrees of injuries.
Per MyNewsGh.com report, the bus was transporting 24 officers from Dambai to Huhunya, in the Eastern Region for High Risk and confidence-building Operation Training.
Unfortunately, the bus got involved in an accident, upon reaching Anfoega, as the vehicle ran into a ditch when the driver tried to avoid a head-on collision with a vehicle that had stopped abruptly on the road.
The incident caused some damage to the bus that the police were travelling in as well as a commercial Hyundai grace bus.
Meanwhile, the six(6) officers who were injured were sent to the Anfoega Roman Catholic hospital for treatment.
No casualties have been confirmed yet.
