After two years away from refereeing and from Ghana’s second tier matches, Moro Iddrisu is among the shortlisted 70 Referees to officiate the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League.

The Class One Referee, who was based in Ho, has handled several crucial matches across Zone 3 to Zone 1 with aptness and decisiveness.

Moro who failed to run for the second time, had wanted to retire from the knights of the whistle, but considered those looking up to him as inspiration and run again until he qualified.

Before his two years absence, he manned the 4th official post in the goalless draw game between Young Apostles and Kintampo Fc in Zone 1B at the Sunyani Coronation Park. He actually started refereeing in 2014 in Ho, through the Central Zone Association and rose through the ranks with hard work.
