Belinda Asante, Coach of Pupuni Community Cricket Club says, she had a good game.

“We had a good game. My boys did so well but it was hard luck on us. During the latter stages of the game, my boys relaxed and that caused us. We will definitely win our last match against Tortibo and top the table again.”

His opposite number, Nelson Kofi Tamakloe says, Pupuni is still a Club to watch in the semis, as he’s yet to know more about Terrific Hitters from Boso in Zone 1.

“I was so excited during the last stages of the game. We have really shown it is a top of the table affair and we thank God we won and still top of the table. I am grateful to my players and the entire Abuakwa Community. Pupuni is a Club to watch out for, because they did very well. I am yet to investigate about the Hitters in Boso, but for now, we will prepare for what is ahead.”

The earlier match between Mangoase Hydro and Senchi Royal Batters was also a delight to watch as Evans Osei of Mangoase Hydro had a Golden Duck on Kelvin Selase in the second innings, after Senchi Royals won toss and elected to field first.

Evans’ delivery, plus other bowlers weren’t consistent enough to restrict Senchi Royal Batters below 49 runs, which Mangoase Hydro scored, for 10 wickets in 13 overs, in the first innings.

Senchi Royal Batters won the game by 3 wickets, after scoring 51 runs, for 7 wickets in 17.2 overs.
