Most talked about Class One referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe will be at the centre when Kenpong Football Academy welcomes Skyy Fc to the Gomoa Fetteh Park on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the Access Bank Division One Zone 2 match.
It will be Rustum’s fourth division One game since becoming a Premier league referee in 2019 and his first in Zone 2.
The Ho based referee has officiated two Zone 1 matches; a week 18 tie, which BA United won 2-0 against Steadfast at the Sunyani Coronation Park on May 2, 2021 and a week 30 encounter on July 2, 2021 at the Tamale Stadium, where RTU defeated Unity Fc 2-0.
In Zone 3 last season, he officiated the week 17 match between Accra City and Tema Youth on March 11, 2022, which ended 1-3 for the harbor warriors.
Kenpong, having won 2 matches and drawn 2 are currently sitting top of the table, while Skyy Fc lie 7th with 6 points, after 2 wins and 2 loses ahead of the week 5 tie.
It will be a tough match as both teams are coming from victories in their week 4 encounters; Kenpong beating Dwarfs 2-1 away and Skyy Fc beating Sefwi All Stars 2-0 at home.
The SWAG member will be doing this with Samuel Davor and Augustine Afful as Assistants, while Joseph Pimpong mans the fourth official post.
