Astute class one referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been appointed to handle the week 24 tie of the Access Bank Division One league between Tema Youth and Nania Fc at the Tema Stadium.
The match scheduled for Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 3pm will be the Ho based referee’s 8th overall second tier game since becoming a Premier league referee in 2019.
It is also his 5th division one game this season, with the game between Kenpong FA and (0-1) Skyy Fc tie on October 30, 2022 being his 1st.
It will be his 3rd division one game involving Tema Youth, with the first being week 17 tie away to Accra City Stars on March 11, 2022, where Tema Youth won 3-1. He was center during the week 8 0-0 encounter between Tema Youth and Vision Fc on November 20, 2022.
Tema Youth having gathered some points for themselves still remain bottom with their issues against the GFA not resolved. The Harbour warriors have -18 points after 7 wins and 6 draws, while Nania Fc manage the 13th place with 22 points.
The SWAG Awardee will be assisted on the lines by Isaac Odoom and Moses Amegbetor, with Kere Hashimiwu Issifu manning the fourth official post. Match Commissioner is Joseph Buckman.
Nania, who played at home at the same venue suffered a 2-1 defeat to Tema Youth in the first leg and would look to better their standings with a revenge.
Rustum, a marketer and broadcast journalist is a respected center referee who delivers exceptionally to the admiration of all. He is fit and #RusRefair has been his tag line, hoping to achieve the FIFA badge to make Ghana proud.
