Highly respected Class One Referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe, has been appointed to officiate the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) Match Day 5 encounter between Aduana FC and Bechem United at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The experienced whistleblower, who doubles as a broadcast journalist, has been one of the most consistent performers in Ghana’s top-flight league over the years. His latest assignment marks his fourth visit to Dormaa, a venue that holds fond memories for him.
Rustum’s first center role at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park came during the 2022/23 GPL season, when Aduana Stars edged Dreams FC 1–0 on Match Day 32 (May 27, 2023), a fixture that also marked his 38th Premier League match.
Matches between Aduana and Bechem United have always produced high-quality football, with Bechem holding a slight edge in head-to-head meetings — five wins, two draws, and three victories for Aduana. The upcoming clash therefore, presents Aduana with an opportunity to close the gap.
For this game, Rustum Gameli will be assisted on the lines by Gilbert Adom Mensah and Kenneth Tweneboah-Kodua, while David Addaney serves as the Fourth Official. Osei Koranteng has been appointed as the Match Commissioner.
Bechem United, who have had a difficult start to the season, currently sit 15th on the table with 2 points after four games, while Aduana FC occupy 8th place with 6 points.
The Ho-based referee began his 2025/26 GPL campaign on Match Day 1 at the Nii Adjei Kraku Sports Complex, serving as Fourth Official in the barren draw between Vision FC and Samartex. He then took charge as the Center Referee when Karela United defeated Medeama SC 1–0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Match Day 3.
All eyes will once again be on the ever-calm and fair-minded official, affectionately known as #RusRefair, as he oversees another crucial GPL fixture this weekend.
