The Greater Accra Sapholda Hockey League resumed for the second round with more than drama and redemption as the likes of Extinguishers clinch their first victory, while Exchequers suffered their first defeat on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium.

Extinguishers, having improved over the past 3 matches picked their first 3 points with a 1-0 win over Legonknights Ladies in the second match of the day.

A great field goal, 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter by Abigail Bonnah was all Extinguishers needed to pick all 3 points.

Tried as Legonknights may, an equalizer eluded them, just as a point, like they did in the return fixture, the 1-1 results in week 9, played on July 5, 2025.

Extinguishers leapfrogged Reformers to the 4th spot with 6 points, whereas Legonknights remain bottom with 1 point.
