betPawa Premier League: Rustum Senorgbe begins season with Kotoku vs Accra Lions tie

Highly rated class one referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe will begin the betPawa Ghana Premier League at the Cape Coast Stadium, where debutants, Kotoku Royals welcome Accra Lions in a match day 1 fixture on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Kotoku Royals, who made an emphatic qualification to Ghana’s topflight league from zone 3 after amassing 63 points will test their solidity with fine football playing Accra Lions who finished the 2021/2022 season with 45 points, placing 12th.

To flag on the day will be Paul Atimaka and Courage Kuedufia, while Owusu Prempeh mans the fourth official post.

Rustum, a broadcast journalist at Volta Premier FM in Ho had a fantastic 2021/2022 season and was seen by many as the best referee for the season.

The Marketer and Development enthusiast began his last season with a 1-1 game between Karela United and Aduana Stars at the CAM Park on October 31, 2021.
