E.P University management boosts operations of Campus Media

Management of the Evangelical Presbyterian University College (EPUC) – Ho has purchased a Digital Camera and other equipment for the Campus Broadcasting Centre (CBC) to help in their media activities.

The CBC, initiated in September 2021 by then Pusag Rep, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been covering activities of the Institution which include Investiture, Graduation, Matriculation among other student gathering with text and audiovisuals using phones and borrowed Cameras.

Management upon seeing the need to support the operations of CBC, approved for the purchase of a Camera, a Tripod and a WiFi microphone on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

This comes as a great news to all Volunteers, as they’ll have the opportunity to learn at anytime and also perfect in the usage of these equipment which weren’t always readily available.

Consequently, a short training on the usage of the equipment was organised which saw 7 members in attendance on Saturday, July 15, 2023.

Periodic training sessions sees Volunteers taken through writing articles/stories of events, picture editing, video editing, picture taking, video taking among others.

CBC, already acting as the school media has a Facebook page and YouTube page, where they share their text and audiovisuals stories about EPUC.

However, there are talks with management to gradually turn CBC to the Public Affairs Unit of the Institution to better project EPUC to the World, while enhancing Admission drive, as a space for Office and online radio is near realization.

Meanwhile, CBC is asking for more support to acquire more equipment (Camera, Laptop, Speed Light, Boom microphone, Mixer etc) for better coverage and projection of the Institution.
