Education Minister Adutwum teaches at PRESEC; debunks food shortage claims

The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has indicated that the headmaster of the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC), as well as the students of the school, has debunked report of food shortages in the institution.

The Minister on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, paid an unannounced visit to the Legon-based school to familiarize with the conditions in the school.

The Minister also took the opportunity to teach a section of the students Mathematics during their prep period.

He made this revelation 0n his Facebook page on September 1, 2021.

”Today, I paid a surprise visit to the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) in Legon, to interact with the students, some members of staff and the headmaster.” He said.

”It was fun spending time with the first-year students of the school during their evening prep. My unannounced visit to the school gave rare opportunity to assess how their evening studies are organised.”

 
”In one of the classes, we studied mathematics together. ”

”The students and the headmaster denied claims making rounds in some sections of the media that Presec was experiencing food shortages. It was a pleasant surprise visit and I had a wonderful time at one of the finest Senior High Schools in the country.” He concluded.
