Experienced Football administrator, Edmund Ackah has been named as the new General Manager of Division One League club FC Samartex 1996.
The former Asante Kotoko management member recently resigned from Nzema Kotoko as the Chief Executive Officer.
He is expected to use his enormous experience to guide the side to secure qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight next season.
Ackah is highly respected having occupied different managerial capacities with Medeama SC and Asante Kotoko.

He has also served and continues to serve as the Welfare Officer of Ghana’s Black Stars B.
