In this modern era, people are questioning the promises of the Lord and their time of fulfillment. There are many spoken words of the Lord through His servants of the Church that are set into doubt and unbelief due to the longevity of their fulfillment.

Our dispensation has been hijacked with challenges that are watering down our faith in the Lord in the Arena of possibilities to overcome all things.

Due to this, many Christians are turning into ceremonial Christians since their minds have been choked with so many challenges. At the auditorium, he or she is waiting for deliverance from the Lord, someone to offload his or her burden. The mind has been attacked by the devil with challenges as Satan tried Jesus Christ in the wilderness.

But as the Bible confirms in Joshua 21:45,The LORD promised the Israelites and made sure every single promise came to pass.s.This is what the Lord is going to do in the days ahead of you. Let’s consider the following incidents in the Bible:

a. God’s promise to Abraham: He promised to make him the father of nations. This promise of the Lord came to pass.

b. Joseph was promised to be the head of his brothers. It came to pass, and he was even complimented by the Prime Minister.

The Lord promised the Israelites the land of Canaan. They were given the land.

Brethren I don’t know the status of your mentality now, but I would like you to notice that whatever the Lord has promised about you will come to pass if only you consider the following:

I. Patience: God does things in His time when provisions for His glorifications are set. Be patient, and don’t compare your scripts to those of your friends. Your questions are different from someone’s questions, irrespective of status. You could be twins or siblings from the same mother, but your questions are different.

ii. Endurance: we must do well to seek the Holy Spirit to protect our integrity. Yes, the situation is tough, but as we endure what we hear and read, then the Lord is preparing us on that ground. Because if we fall, the promise would delay its fulfillment.

iii. Holiness. The Lord tells us to be holy since He is holy. The psalmist says it is holiness that would exhort a nation. Joseph’s promises came to pass as he stood firm in holiness and didn’t sin against the Lord.

Considering the above discussion, I would like to encourage you that whatever promises the Lord has made in a dream or prophecy, just have faith, continue to wait for the Lord’s approval, concentrate on what is in your hands, and make better results out of that opportunity.

But remember, the greatest promise He gave you yesterday and today is life. You may not value it because it is not where your mind has been set, but it serves as the foundation of all that you are seeking.

Your scripts are different from theirs, so wait for your answer and don’t expect the same answers.

God bless you for this article, and I pray it will light your soul with life to remain in the Lord.

Accept Christ Jesus to be part of this inheritance.
