FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup: Ghana’s Black Princesses book final qualifying berth with Eswatini win

Ghana’s Black Princesses beat Eswatini 2-1 on Sunday 19th November 2023 at the Accra Sports stadium to progress to final round of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

2 quick goals from Beline Nyarko and Sarah Nyarko in the first 15 minutes of play sealed the win for Yussif Basigi’s girls.

The Black Princesses had beaten their opponents 6-1 from the first-leg and were hoping to double it on Sunday but had to settle for 2 goals giving them an 8-1 aggregate.

The Black Princesses aims at making their seventh straight appearance at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup by qualifying for the tournament in Colombia next year after their final match against Senegal in January 2024.
