Ho based Class One Referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been handed the Ghana Premier league matchday 19 tie between Kumasi Asante Kotoko vs Bibiani Gold Stars on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The 6pm kick off game which will be Live on Startimes becomes the 2nd time the SWAG Awardee will officiate a home match of the porcupine warriors.
The broadcast journalist with Ho Technical University’s Volta Premier Fm handled Kotoko’s 1-1 game against Bechem Utd at the Baba Yara Stadium, a week 7 match on October 29, 2023.
Rustum will be aided on the lines by Richard Nartey and Ernest Akatey. Ibrahim Ayaaba will be responsible for the fourth official duties, with Thomas Nunoo as Match Commissioner.
Kotoko, 4th on the table with 29 points, will be hoping to take revenge against Gold Stars, after losing their first-round encounter by 2-1 at the Duns Park last year. Gold Stars, 13th with 21 points, will however seek to equal the deficit (2 losses) against Asante Kotoko, having drawn 2 and won 1 in their last 5 meetings.
