Ghanaian striker, Joseph Esso ended his debut season in Algeria in grand style as he bagged a hat-trick in MC Alger’s final game of the 2020/21 season.
Esso’s goals saw Alger play a 4-4 stalemate with Hussein Dey in a pulsating encounter on Tuesday evening.
This means Esso netted six goals in his debut season in the Algerian top-flight – securing him a joint foreign top scorer in the league despite joining mid-season.
Esso secured, a lucrative three-year deal in April this year with the Algerian giants from Dreams FC.
His team finished 7th on the league log.
