The Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) has served notice of Elective Congress to all Regional Associations and stakeholders, following the discontinuance of the suit case against it at the High Court on May 9 2022.
An invitation has been extended to all Member Regional Associations (MRAs) for the Election of New Executive Board for the next four years, slated for July 1, 2022 at 10:00am at the Korean Sports Complex in Tema
The election of new Executive Board is in line with the GTF Constitution and the WT New Process of Recognition of New MNA Leadership (January 12, 2020).
Application forms for the elections will be available at the Korean Sports Complex for interested persons from June 13-17, 2022, from 10:00am to 3:00pm each day, with Deadline for submission of the application form pegged at June 17, 2022 at 4:00pm prompt at the same venue.
Interested applicants may pick hard copies of the forms from the Korean Sports Complex in Tema or download the form in MS Word format from the GTF Facebook page and MRAs WhatsApp platforms. Applicants (especially those living outside Ghana) may also request for the soft copy by email to ghanataekwondofederation@gmail.com.
Positions available for the Executive Board include:
- President
- Vice President and
- 2 members
All MRAs are however required to participate in this important Congress which marks a new turn for the Federation after four years of suspension of elections.
