The Institute of Global Peace and Conflict Management (IGPCM), a leading organization dedicated to fostering peace and resolving conflicts across Africa, has appointed Dr. Enam Foster Dagadu as its Country Coordinator for Ghana, effective immediately.
In a letter dated 12th February, 2025 and signed by Registrar to the council, Ambassador Tarhule Joshua Teryila, the appointment will be formalized after Dr. Dagadu’s official induction as a member.
Dr Dagadu, a board member of the Ghana Boxing Federation and Chairman of the Volta Regional Boxing Federation is expected to participate in a training program for country representatives, aimed at onboarding him into the IGPCM global team, from February 22, through to 28, 2025, to facilitate his membership.
His appointment, which is provisional at this stage, and valid for the next 30 days, is a testament of his commitment to ensuring Peace and managing Conflicts in communities and the nation at large.
Dr Dagadu has enormously contributed to the development and promotion of sports in Ghana.
Apart from continuously steering the affairs of boxing from the Volta Region to the nation as a whole, he doubles as the founder of Walking Soccer in Ghana.
Away from Sports, he is the founder and President of West African Union of Ewes, whose aim is to drive unity among Ewes and promote peace, while enhancing socio political empowerment.
Dr. Dagadu holds an MBA in Project Management from Jilce International University and Seminary and a PhD in Business Management and Research from the Corporate Institute of Strategic Research (CISR), in collaboration with the University of Ghana.
Dr Dagadu’s appointment is expected to strengthen Ghana’s contributions to global Peace initiatives, as he brings a unique blend of sports leadership and community development expertise to the IGPCM’s mission.
