New Ghana striker Inaki Williams opens La Liga goal account in Athletico Bilbao’s heavy win over Cadiz

New Black Stars striker, Inaki Williams, scored the first goal in Athletico Bilbao’s 4-0 thrashing of Cadiz on Monday night to open his La Liga goal account.

Williams scored the opener on the 24th minute mark with a brilliant finish.
Los Leones swarmed Cádiz in attack and the hosts committed yet another defensive error as Alfonso Espino handled in the penalty area, giving Williams a chance to strike a third goal in three at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.

However, he missed a penalty kick on the 35th minute.

Ledesma made a low stop on the Williams’ penalty kick to give Los Piratas a chance to recover after the break.

Inaki’s younger brother Nico assisted the third goal for the Basque-based side.

Lex Berenguer was connected to by Nico Williams’ flick inside the penalty area, and he quickly added a third goal before Guruzeta added his second in stoppage time.

Inaki was replaced on the 54th minute mark after he picked an injury.
