Goaso Omanhene gifts Hearts goalkeeping trainer Eric Amponsah a plot of land for winning double

Hearts Of Oak goalkeeping trainer Eric Amponsah has been awarded a land by Goasomanhene Nana Kwasi Bosompra after winning double with the club last season.

The Phobians after a conundrum start to the season, secured the 2021 Ghana Premier League before defeating AshantiGold in the final of the FA Cup on penalties to complete their first double in almost twenty years.

Amponsah who once worked with Goaso-based Unity FC presented his medals to the Omanhene of Goaso traditional area Nana Akwasi Bosompra in the Ahafo regional capital at his Palace and he gifted him a plot of land for making the people of the area proud.

Nana Bosompra took the opportunity to offer some advice to the youth. He said the youth should emain disciplined and work hard when given the opportunity to serve in any capacity.

Amponsah also had a stint with Medeama SC before moving to Hearts Of Oak.

Hearts have been paired with Guinean club CI Kamsar in the preliminary stage of the 2021/22 Caf Champions League competition.
