God Is In Control Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO), donated educational materials to three schools in the Ashanti Region on Friday, March 11, 2022.

The schools that benefited from the kind gesture of the God Is In Control Foundation were Kwamang Esereso D/A Primary School, Nsuta D/A Primary School (both in the Sekyere Central District) and Odikro Nkwanta in the Tepa Municipality.

The donation, which took place at the school premises separately as part of the organization’s humanitarian activities, aimed at encouraging learners and parents in deprived communities to know the importance of education.

The donation was comprised of learning aids or items such as 1,000 branded exercise books, pencils, pens, and snacks for both male and female pupils of the school at a cost of about GHS 3,000 (Three thousand Ghana Cedis).

One of the schools’ headmasters, who was overjoyed, praised the group and said the donation was timely and would help improve teaching and learning at the school.

“I think the donation is a great one that will help most of the learners here, and I am sure those who are feeling hesitant to come to school will make amends.”

God Is In Control Foundation is made up of about 32 members who are teachers, fashion designers, hairdressers, traders, and caregivers.
