The Achimota Oval A and B will be the battlefields where the ‘gari’ will be separated from the ‘rice’, as the top and bottom four clubs from the recently concluded Ghana Cricket Division One Qualifier clash in a fierce T10 knockout showdown on Sunday, April 27, and Sunday, May 4, 2025.

The Quest for Glory Begins:
On April 27, preliminaries kick off with the Top Four clubs locking horns at Oval A.

  • Rana Motors will square off against MMG,
  • Alpha Cricket Club takes on BGC,
  • Carel Super Kings welcome Gujarat Titans, and
  • Salt n’ Pepper face Evolve in what promises to be thrilling encounters.

Meanwhile, action on Oval B will see:

  • Defenders battling Swami Indians,
  • Royal Kings Punjab locking horns with Punjab Warriors,
  • Supreme Cricket Club hosting Hurricanes, and
  • Champions United clashing with Bangla Tigers.

Path to the Final:
Winners from the preliminary rounds will march into the semifinals, with champions to be crowned on May 4, 2025.

Interestingly, champions will be honored separately — Top 4 Champions and Bottom 4 Champions — giving every team something big to fight for.

Although Rana Motors (winners of Qualifier A) and Alpha Cricket Club (winners of Qualifier B) come in with high expectations, nothing is guaranteed. Cross-group matchups mean no one is safe, and the thrill is set to keep fans at the edge of their seats.

Keeping the Fire Alive:
This championship aims to maintain club activity and competitiveness as the cricket community awaits the launch of the Division One and Division Two leagues by the Ghana Cricket Association.
