The headmistress of Juaso SHS has allegedly stripped a female student naked for wearing an unprescribed uniform on campus.
Eduwatch on March 16, 2022, engaged the GES District Director at Asante Akyem South, after receiving complaints that, a headmistress at Juaso SHS allegedly “stripped” a female student “naked” for wearing an unprescribed uniform on campus.
Eduwatch indicated that while the District Directorate investigates the issue, it calls on the District Authorities to keep a close eye on that campus, as there is uneasy calm amongst the student body.
”We encourage teachers to enforce discipline in schools using the GES’ disciplinary policy.
The GES Headquarters should be interested in supporting the district to handle this issue.” Eduwatch said.
The school is a Senior high School in the Asante Akim South District of the Ashanti Region. It is located in the District Capital, Juaso.
