The talismanic midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim has been named as NASCO Ghana Premier League Player of the Season after his excellent campaign.
He was influential for the Phobians after his switch from Techiman Eleven Wonders during the second transfer window last season, helping the Phobians win the double: the Ghana Premier League as well as the MTN FA Cup to be precise.
The prize sees Salifu add to his Ghana Football Awards home-based Player of the Year award which he received earlier this year.
The 21-year-old played 33 matches, scoring three times, providing eight assists with eight MVP awards.
He beat off competition from WAFA’s Augustine Boakye and teammates, Benjamin Afutu and Gladson Awako.
