Hearts vs Dreams; Rustum Senorgbe’s first Fa Cup semis match

Ho based class one Referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been handed his first ever MTN Fa Cup semi final between defending champions, Accra Hearts of Oak and Dreams Fc to be played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

His appointment follows his consistent flawless officiating over the past seasons, with commendation from club officials and other stakeholders.

The SWAG member will centre his 6th FA cup match overall, since the 1-2 round 64 result between Heart of Lions and WAFA on February 23, 2020 at the Kpando Park.

The Broadcast Journalist was 4th official last season when Hearts defeated Medeama Sc 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium, a match officiated by Selorm Yao Bless.

Rustum has officiated 1 preliminary stage match in the Fa cup, 3 round 64, and 1 round 32. He has manned the 4th official post twice, which includes the 8-7 penalty shootout victory for Hearts over Elmina Sharks on March 27 at the Accra Sports Stadium, a round of 16 tie officiated by Isaac Osei.

Rustum will be flagged on the lines by Courage Kuedufia and Isaac Odoom, whereas George Mawuli Vormawah takes charge of the 4th official duties.

Mikaila Adam Mukaila is the Match Commissioner.

Hearts of Oak qualified to the semis with a 1-0 win over Skyy Fc at the Accra Sports Stadium last month while Dreams saw off a stiff competition from Kotoku Royals with a 2-1 win at the theatre of Dreams in Dawu. It expects to be a cracker as both top tier sides eye the trophy, which Hearts is defending.
