The Volta and Oti Regional Boxing Federation, Sadik Akake Boxing Promotion in collaboration with the Ho Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon Divine R.K Bosson, who doubles as the Parliamentary Candidate on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party has put together a never to forget boxing night at the Children’s Park in Ho on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The night will see several boxers from the region and beyond fight in honor and appreciation of the good work of the MCE over the past years. The likes of Polo Pala, who showed the whole Ghana what he is made of in 2017 at the Ho Sports Stadium is on the bill, with other enterprising boxers.
It will be a night of thrills with great punches from the orthodox to the southpaws, exhibition of resilience and toughness and a show of sportsmanship
Hon Divine Bosson is poised to continue a lasting promotion and development of sports in the municipality and beyond as he had played a crucial role in the qualification of Home Stars to division one league.
On the bill is Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko whose presence will not only motivate the young boxers to be champions on the night but also inspire them to be World Champions in years to come.
Hon Divine Bosson will also use the night to honor few people who have contributed to the development of boxing in the region.
Regional Sports Director, of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Madam Joyce Datsa is among dignitaries expected to grace the night as Promoter, Abubakar Saddick Akake and Regional Boxing Chairman, Enam Foster Dagadu, has promised a memorable night.
With several sponsors and media partners, rate for the night has GH₵10.00 for Regular and GH₵20.00 for VIP, as bout begins from 7pm.
