Former forward of Bechem United, Augustine Okrah has said it was his goal to join Simba and has pledged to put in a lot of effort for the team.
Okrah, 28, on Thursday moved to the Tanzanian powerhouse Simba SC in a two year deal.
The former Ghana Premier league top scorer scored 14 goals in the GPL for the Hunters last season.
Augustine Okrah promises to put in a lot of effort now that his dream move to Simba SC has been secured.
“It’s a dream come true and am very happy and delighted to join the best club in Tanzania,” he told the club media.
“I talked to my family yesterday, they wish me and Simba a very good season”
“It wasn’t an easy decision for me, I looked forward before taking a decision. I sat down with my management and they accepted my choice”
“As a soldier, you always have to be ready so anytime go to the pitch I will give my best. I am not going to look at the language and the facilities, I am here to work hard and also give my best to the club” he said.
He also helped Bechem United to reach the 2022 MTN FA cup finals before losing 1-2 to Hearts of Oak in Kumasi.
