Akosombo Krystal Palace Academy ended the 2021/2022 Division One league with a 1-1 draw against Accra City Stars on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the Teshie Mats Park.

With a bad position and a push for all 3 points, the Pride of Akwamu lads had a good game but were wasteful upfront even when they were down by a goal.

The home side caught Krystal Palace sleeping just after recess and punished them before the second half could settle as Bernadinho Osah Tetteh slotted home in the 46’.

Krystal Palace kept pushing for the equalizer and possibly take the lead for the rest of the half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

David Anderson scored his first goal from the spot in the 78’, when substitute, Francis Mensah forced his way into the box and was clipped.
