Kudus Mohammed out of Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa

Ghana will be without enterprising midfielder, Kudus Mohammed for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers as the Ajax man has been ruled out of action for three weeks.

The 21-year-old will not be available for the said period after sustaining a fresh injury, according to his club Ajax Amsterdam.

The talented midfielder sustained an ankle injury during Ajax pre-season friendly against Anderlecht.

The latest update from Ajax indicates that the midfielder will not be available for both club and country after missing out on training since the incident. He is yet to recover from the injury.

This means that Kudus Mohammed will not be available for the Black Stars upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia in Cape Coast and South Africa in Johannesburg next month.

Kudus Mohammed was part of the 30-man squad called by Black Stars head coach CK Akonnor for the two matches.
