Former Ghanaian top-flight side, Kumasi Cornerstone FC, have been relegated to the fourth tier of Ghanaian football.
Cornerstone FC were relegated to Division 3 after a 1-1 draw against Prof Quarm FC in the penultimate game of the Ashanti Regional Division Two League.
With just a game to end the Zone 5, the Kumasi-based club is four points behind the seventh-place team.
Therefore, a win on the final day of games will not save them from beating the drop.
Cornerstone used to be a talent hub in Ghana football having produced the finest players such as former African Footballer of the year Abdul Razak.
Other players are former Kotoko coach Stephen Frimpong Manso, Emmanuel Amoah and Sampson Appiah.
The club was one of the biggest teams in Ghana in the 1970s and ’80s.
