In order to recreate, enhance talent and promote health, Viyama Sports and Recreation Consult has put together a 5km all-female (individual & team) race scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the University of Legon.
The one-day event which begins at 6am will also have a 10 per team tug of war, with benefits like Race numbers, Race recovery pack, fun-filled experience to last a lifetime and many more.
With Free entry but required, the maiden edition of She-RACE is expecting not only ladies into sports but the working class to come keep fit, socialize and release a week-long stress, as research has shown that not many girls and women engage in physical activities myriad challenges, contributing to a surge in non-communicable disease.
SheRACE is being positioned to progressively become the biggest platform and safe space for women and girls to engage in selected sports and recreation activities, unearth and promote talents whilst promoting and supporting silent health and social charities as well as businesses through exhibitions.
