Midfielder Frimpong Boateng joins Great Olympics as a replacement for Gladson Awako

King Faisal FC has reached an agreement with Great Olympics for the permanent transfer of their midfielder Frimpong Boateng ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The Ghana U-23 player agreed personal terms with the club last week and is set to sign a two-year with Olympics on Monday as a replacement for Gladson Awako – who has joined Hearts Of Oak.

King Faisal confirmed the midfielder will be joining his new club on Social Media, thanking him for his services.

“We have reached an agreement with Accra Great Olympics for the permanent transfer of hardworking midfielder Frimpong Boateng. Boateng leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the Club.” wrote King Faisal on Twitter.

The 21-year-old was one of the top performers in the last campaign for King Faisal scoring 3 goals in 31 matches with three assists. He also won three man of the match awards.

He is expected to begin training with the Dade boys after penning down the deal.
