As the Ghana Premier league entered Match Day 15 this week, the Referees Appointment Committee has handed Rustum Gameli Senorgbe the Accra Lions vs Nsoatreman tie, scheduled for Monday, December 18, at the WAFA park in Sogakope.
While it is the 46th Premier League match for the very consistent Referee, it will be the third time Accra Lions will be meeting Nsoatreman in the league.
The SWAG member has officiated two home matches so far of Accra Lions, of which they triumphed and all against Berekum Chelsea; a 2-0 win on June 4, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium, his 25th match on week 32 in the 2021/22 season and a 2-1 victory last season, yet at the Accra Sports Stadium, his 31st match on week 13 played on January 16, 2023.
It will be his second away match of Nsoatreman as they salvaged a point (1-1) against Dreams Fc on October 11, a week 3 game this season at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Rustum, who is a trustworthy and dedicated employee of the Ho Technical University, will be assisted on the lines by Richard Nartey and Isaac Odoom, while Reginald Collins Amoah. Mike Amedior is Match Commissioner.
Both Accra Lions and Nsoatreman Fc have 1 win each in their 2 meetings, Accra Lions winning 2-0 on November 5, 2022 and Nsoatreman grabbing all 3 points with a 3-0 win on March 19, 2023.
After 14 matches, Accra Lions lie 13th with 16 points, while visitors Nsoatreman occupy the 4th spot with 24 points.
