Moro Iddrisu makes the list of Referees for 2024/25 Ghana Premier League

Kumasi based Class One Referee Moro Iddrisu has made the cut for the list of Center Referees for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.

The Asokwa law enforcer, who had a season stint in the Access Bank Division one league last season following his come back to the knights of the whistle, exhibited exceptionally on the field from Zone 1 to Zone 3 of Ghana’s second tier, as well as passing the annual written exams and fitness test organised by the Referees Committee of the GFA at Kumasi.

Moro, who joined other few new entrants to the Premier league this season, was involved in a total of 16 matches last season; out of which he handled 7 at center and 7 as fourth, with 2 MTN Fa Cup matches.

He has flashed a total of 26 yellow cards out of the entire 16 matches and 2 red cards.

The CAF Instructor, who is an inspiration to many young referees, returned to the Division One league in the 2023/24 season after 2 years absence due to health issues.

While waiting to make his premier league debut, with matches beginning Saturday, September 7, this new stage is s testament of his resilience and professionalism on the field.

Moro, also known as ‘The People’s Referee’ is trusted to keep his game clean and in order, allowing fairness and integrity to prevail.
