Kumasi based Class One Referee; Moro Iddrisu will be officiating his first Ghana Premier league match in the week 5 encounter between Gold Stars and Bechem United at the Dun’s Park on Sunday, October 6, 2024.
Moro, a law enforcer with the Asokwa District Police Station gained promotion to Ghana’s top tie league, having had a stellar performance in his one season of the Division 1 league last season.
The CAF Instructor in Ashanti, started his season with 4th Official duties on Week 2, when Holy Stars drew 0-0 with Dreams Fc at the CAM Park on September 15, 2024, handled by Selorm Yao Bless.
The People’s Referee, again manned 4th official duties in the 2-1, week 4 victory for defending champions Samartex, against newbies Vision Fc at the Nsenkyire Arena on September 29, 2024, with Dr Imoro Osman at the center.
It is time for him to affect the Ghana Premier league with his confident and excellent application of the laws of the game at the Bibiani Duns Park when Gold Stars come face to face with Bechem United this Sunday afternoon.
Moro will have Gabriel Boateng and Henry Essel Bediako on the lines, with experienced Rustum Gameli Senorgbe manning the 4th official duties. Charles Darkwah is the Match Commissioner for the game.
Gold Stars are 3rd with 8 points on the log, while Bechem Utd is managing 5 points on the 11th spot after 4 matches each. After 6 meetings, Gold Stars have recorded 2 wins, lost 2 and drawn 2 as they head for their 7th game.
