The MTN Fa Cup round 32 tie between Accra Hearts of Oak and Dreams Fc will be officiated by Ho based class one referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 22, 2023.
It will be the Marketer’s 8th time at the center of MTN Fa Cup matches, since becoming a Premier league referee in 2019.
The match becomes Rustum’s 2nd MTN Fa cup appointment this season, after officiating the 1-0 win for Heart of Lions against Unity Stars on December 22, 2022 in the Round of 64 at Kpando and as well be the 2nd time he will be officiating an MTN Fa Cup match between Hearts and Dreams.
The Broadcast Journalist centered the 3-2 win for Hearts against Dreams at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 14, 2022 in the semifinal game last season.
Whiles the defending champions fancies another triumph after a back-to-back win, Dreams Fc is in search of a revenge at the same venue where they lost to the Phobians in the semis.
To ensure the game is handled clean and fair, Paul Kodzo Atimaka and Theophilus Akugre will assist Rustum on the lines, with Prince Okoto Ntiamoah as 4th official. Adam Mukaila Mukaila is the match Commissioner.
Rustum, nominated by SWAG for meritorious Award will now have handled 1 preliminary stage match, 4 Round 64 matches, 2 Round 32 match and 1 semifinal match of the Fa cup, so far.
