Kumasi based Class One Referee, Moro Iddrisu has been handed his second MTN FA Cup match this season at the Malik Jabir Stadium in Wa between Power Fc and Real Tamale United.
The round of 32 encounter scheduled for Sunday, January 7, 2024 will be the second visit of the Law enforcer to the Malik Jabir Stadium. Moro officiated his first Division One game at the same venue since returning to Ghana’s second tier; a week 3 encounter which Maana Fc won 1-0 against Tamale City in Zone 1A.
‘The Peoples Referee’ will be ably assisted by Kofi Nyarko Bakai and Abdul Majeed Effa. Amadu Ibrahim is Fourth Referee, whereas Mark Kodua is Match Commissioner.
Wa Power Fc were 1-0 victors over Hilla Stars Fc in an away fixture in the round 64 stage. RTU were also away and trashed lower division side Awarey Stars Fc 7-1.
On November 29, 2023, Moro Iddrisu, who is a FIFA trained Technical Instructor at the Ashanti Regional Football Association (ARFA) officiated his first Fa Cup tie between Berekum City and Techiman Liberty Youth which ended 3-0 at the Golden City Park.
