The Ngleshie traditional council has vehemently rejected the claim that there is another Wetse Kojo II.
Records show from archives that the late Henry George Vanderpuye was installed under the stool name Wetse Kojo II on 27th January, 1939. So if anything at all whoever want to bear the same name will obviously be the 3rd and not 2nd.
That Prince Ashiaku’s Own family which under is Ngleshie Alata distoolled him, and now has a legitimate Mantse in the person of Nii Kweikuma Aplel Otoo IV. Therefore he cannot hold himself as the same old Wetse Kojo II. The Elders of Ngleshie are cautioning everyone to stop doing business with him.
They are appealing to President Mahama, IGP Yohuno, chief justice and interior minister honourable Muntaka to treat the challenge facing Ngleshie Alata with dispatch.
