Division One League side Nsoatreman FC have secured the services of 5 players to beef up their squad ahead of the 2021/2022 football season set to commence in late October this year.
The new signings consist of one right back, two midfielders and two strikers.
With the vision of qualifying to Ghana’s top flight in the upcoming season, the club signed 3 of the players from fellow Division One League clubs.
The club captured Adu Solomon, an offensive midfielder from Berekum Arsenal, Awuah Amoah Stephen, also a midfielder from BA United, right-back Amankwah Frank from Kato Freedom Fighters, and strikers – Owusu Francis and Shaibu Yakubu from Unity FC and Kato Freedom Fighters respectively.
The Bono-based club will unveil the 5 players next week to officially welcome them to the team.
TrueNewsGhana.com can also confirm that the second-tier side owned by Ghana’s Labour and Employment Minister, Hon. Ignatius Baffour Awuah are in talks with Asante Kotoko to secure goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim in a one-year loan deal.
They are also in talks with Bofoakwa Tano talisman Takyi Welbeck and midfielder Dennis of BA United.
Nsoatreman FC finished 12th in the 2020/21 Division One League with 33 points from 30 matches.
The club is seriously putting things in order in its quest to grab a slot to the Ghanaian top-flight.
