Ho based Class One center Referee, Rustum Gameli Senorgbe will mark his 60th time at the center of a Premier League game since 2019 when Legon Cities lock horns with Bechem United at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
The match day 13 encounter of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League will be played on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Rustum during his early days in the Ghana Premier League has officiated Legon Cities matches while the Legonites are yet to clinch victory in any match centered by the #RusRefair man.
In four home matches in 3 seasons, Legon Cities has played 3 draws and lost 1; a 1-3 result against Bechem Utd at the El wak Sports Stadium on January 27, in the 2022/23 season, Rustum’s first time at the venue.
It will however be the first time the Broadcast Journalist will be officiating a match at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Marking the Marketer’s 50th Premier League game in a week 21 encounter, Bechem United beat Legon Cities 1-0 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Brobbey Kwasi Acheampong and Paul Kodzo Atimaka will be on the lines, with Misbaw Mohammed as the fourth Official.
Ahead of their 18th tie at 3pm tomorrow, Legon Cities have recorded just 4 wins, drawn 5 and lost 8 to Bechem United.
A win for Cities will move them away from the drop zone, as they lie 17th with 11 points. Bechem Utd on the other hand will boost their chances at the summit with victory, as they also occupy the 5th spot with 20 points.
Nevertheless, a wonderful game is expected with SWAG’s Rustum Gameli Senorgbe at the helm of affairs.
