Mcbones Foundation donates to child of late Ghanaian boxer “Bahubali”

Ghanaian International boxer Seth Gyimah, popular known in the boxing arena as Freezy Mcbones has donated a cheque of three thousand Ghana Cedis (Ghc 3,000) to support the little child of the late boxer, Ernest Akushey, alias Bahubali who died in September after a hot bout.

The strong boxer, Freezy Mcbones made this donation through his Foundation (Freezy Mcbones Foundation) aimed at helping the needy and the less privileged ones across the country.

Mcbones has since received great commendation from all and sundry for his philanthropic and kind gesture.

It may be recalled that Ernest Akushey, popularly referred to as Bahubali, was a super middleweight boxer.

The 32 year old boxer died on September 23, 2025, about 11 days after his fight on September 12.

That unpopular fight took place at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana. He was stopped in the eighth round by Jacob Dickson and reportedly fell ill shortly after bout. His condition got worsening overnight leading to his sudden death.

That shocking and untimely death compelled the National Sports Authority (NSA) to suspend all boxing activities in Ghana for some weeks.
