Twelve (12) Clubs are set to battle for supremacy, bragging rights and a whooping cash prize of GH₵10,000.00 in the Ghana Premier Cup championship organised by Champions United and sponsored by Codex Computers and Indian Salt n Pepper Restaurant on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at the Achimota Cricket Oval.
Paired into 4 groups of 3, a quarter final berth will be secured after a single round robin on both Oval A & B of the Achimota Cricket field in the 5-Over modified cricket championship, co-sponsored by Jaykay, Trendz Hair Studio, Kodak Paints, Indobey Global Ltd and Can-West.
With runner-up taking GH₵6,000.00, each team is to have 11 players.
Group A has Champions United, who will square it off with DPS Tamil Pasanga and Royal Stars Tema, while Defenders will meet up with Accra Titans and Ultimate Stars in Group B.
Gujurat Tridents are up against Devnik United and fearless Fighters in Group C whereas Shaheen 11, Salt n Pepper and Indian Strikers Kumasi, are paired in Group D.
Throw off on Sunday is at 7:15am exactly with Royal Stars playing DPS Tamil Pasanga on Oval A, while Gujurat Tridents square it off with Devnik United on Oval B.
Other fantastic individual prizes and accolades are expected at the closing ceremony by 4pm.
It is an opportunity for the Indian community to unite once again through the sport they most cherish.
The first edition of the Ghana Premier Cup will not just be a mixture of everything Cricket offers, but also about the unity it brings families.
